Not a cooking post! This is my Husband's favorite Jumper. It's about 3-4 years old and has become an every day item rather than a for 'best'. We both love this Jumper, I think he looks smashing and handsome in it. it is a nightmare getting him to part with it for washing. it has taken me 3 weeks to cadge it off him for some TLC! The problem is the company doesn't make this Jumper in this colour any longer. We bought one in the claret colour for Him this Christmas. They are about £120, and I think worth every penny. However we aren't buying them every year!
I couldn't work out why the left arm had gone through next to the elbow patch, however after mending it yesterday he insisted on having it back, and I suddenly realised it's where he drives the car with his elbow resting on the middle arm rest.
It is a fabulous soft, 100% Lambswool Jumper, and I can tell you it has had a lot of wear. Sometimes I think it's little things like mending a Jumper that say 'I love you very much'. I was worth the effort, because my Husband makes me a cup of tea every evening around 10pm, and He got the vacuum cleaner out this morning without being asked. It is the little things that matter. Worth more than Diamonds, these little things cement a marriage.
Anyway heres a 'How To mend that sleeve'. This is how I do it anyway.
