I can't get through with the branch cutters.
Himself is off fishing with friends tomorrow morning so I think I might play with the chain saw. I am too tired to do it now. I quite like the idea of dressing up in my old bike leathers to to this as I haven't got anything else that's protective enough. They are fishing for Bream, bit bony, but a lovely fish.
I don't like having my Husband playing with the chainsaw unless I am nearby, as he won't wear anything protective, and takes huge amounts of warfarin.
Actually based on that obsevation, perhaps I just feel like I want an excuse to put my bike leathers on now I don't have a bike. Used to have a Yamah Virago 125cc. I bought it for my 41st birthday. I meant to buy it for my 40th birthday but didn't get round to it. The bike I realy think is pretty is the old 500cc Virago.
Sorry all you Harley fans.
I have one of the first Mazda MX5 in blue with the pop up headlights.
I decided to call her 'Speedwell' last month. She just had her 21st Birthday and I opened a bottle of Champagne with some friends and toasted her as she has just done 50,000 miles. I am not sure if the number scratched underneath the ash tray is someone who made her. I will just go and write it down.
It's 1424 so it can't be a telephone number. Perhaps it's a part number, but I can't think why anyone would scratch a number under the ash tray.
I did sprinkle Champagne on her tyres.. You only get birthdays every 10,000 miles after all.
I was staggered that I was getting an extra 60 miles per tank.
Thats usually 180 miles per tank, then I got over 240miles per tank. Thats a saving of 25% fuel. She also got some lovely new back tires and a new CD player. I need new speakers now because the sound isn't that good. I like Bob Dylan, and 'The Christians' at the moment... Loud.
I gave her a wax polish for a few hours a couple of days later, she loved it.
