I don't think the French are heavily into sheep farming. People keep sheep, but they don't seem to farm them as much as cows.
The best lamb is salt fed from the estuaries in France though. It is worth paying a huge premium for it. Rather like the Japanese beef.
The UK are farming Japanese style beef now.
The Brits are also making excellent Brie and Camembert type cheese.
Of course there are lots of New World wines out there to try.
We should get some excellent world produce when we are out of the EU.
I grew up when 'Home and Colonial' was the high street supermarket. So much produce, and served from behind the counter.
Perhaps we could have a new version of this and call it 'Home and Commonwealth'.
Nice idea for the day, the weather is glorious, a little chill in the breeze, blue sky, Moon still visible.
Lovely day for a dog walk.
