Just had a look at Nasa's site http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/galex/pia14094.html
I always knew it is pretty flat. I have a mouse in my shed, and it came out from under the sink unit on Saturday evening. It brushed against my foot at the same time... 3 feet away. It was sooo surprised and so was I. It stopped and looked me squarely in the eye for a moment, and then quietly wandered off!
So we can all agree that 'time' is a construct then? Something God had to do, so that we could understand eternity?
If you imagine the universe as an elastic band, the slightly flat ones that go round letters the postman brings, then twist it so it is a figure of eight... I have a sneaky suspicion that when we do a 'loop', and get back to where the elastic crosses over we are back at another opportunity to 'swap' from an empirical state to a semi linear state.
We get to do this anytime through faith in Jesus. We just did a crossover at the 'points', and at the center. Then if what I kind of sense, the universe should begin to reduce in size again. The universe is entropic. It kind of 'beats' like a heart.
Ants know these things, they live in a flat universe, it never changed for them. They live in the moment, just do what they feel. And yet they have been dancing to each other like mad the last few weeks. I have never seen them get on their back legs and stand up to talk to each other before. They have been wiggling their little antennae at each other, and greeting like long lost friends. It's realy cute.
I just went to make a cuppa earlier and The Ants have just had a terrible time on the kitchen worksurface. I didn't realise they were existing in both forms. Wow, thats why they have formic acid! The ones in the kitchen were killing each other, it was awful. That must be why when one ant picks something up and moves it, and than another one puts it back to where it was, they are co-existing in the same 'Jam', see the bottom of the post about Jam.
I like being on a flat Earth! it just goes flat wherever you are, (and flat all the way round), back to where you are when you aren't. Flying in planes is fun too. It's a realy good effect. You just get in a flying box at one end, lots of good sound effects, and then you get out at the other end, and hey presto, you could be in a different universe! (Well planet anyway).
The car is just the same. I actually had a real 'moment' once, I drove down Mont Millais chatting to my Mother in Law, and we got nearly to the bottom... and we were suddenly back just going passed Victoria College. My Mother in Law didn't bat an eyelid, I remembered it but she didn't.
We carried on having the same conversation, and I drove down the hill again. I was a bit shaken by this one. Still it definately happened, because the car in front of me as I drove down the hill, was now behind me.
I could go on.. but I am so happy I am definately back into a Jam sandwich.
You just make it with one slice of white and one slice of brown bread, I like my Husband's homemade marmalade with kumquat liquer, and cut it into four. I prefer squares, and other people prefer triangles. If you are in a hurry, it doesn't matter if you don't cut it up at all.
Then you have it for tea with The Mad Hatter!
um, (CS Lewis wrote Alice in Wonderland, and Tales of Narnia).
He was a great man, and dedicated to Jesus, and often experienced the 'now'.
Sweet dreams and peaceful sleep, it's bedtime. Pity, I hope the ants will be OK.
