I have lit the fire this morning to dispel the chill in the house.
Anyway, I very much like the Rose Carpet and I know my Husband likes the Orange Peice. They both looked lovely on the floor. I am not sure I have a use for the red bag. However, as it was so very clever in showing me the way to block the Abrevoir, I think I will keep it and use it for something later.
I decided I was going to put all the Carpets back in the Auction for Charity. I still want to do this as well, so I have experienced a dilemma over the weekend. Which was lovely shared with some dear French Friends.
I have a solution to my dilemma. I will dry out the carpets and get them valued. There is a shop in town that sells lovely carpets, and the man who sells them is very helpful. I will drop by and ask if He would be able to value the carpets. Then I can ‘Redeem’ the Carpets for my use by putting the value in money to the Charity. This seems a very good way of doing what I said I would do, but still keeping the Carpets.
I am desolate again about Yemen. The situation in Gaza becomes more desperate by the day, and seeing a video of Angelina Joli in Mosul is heartbreaking. How do western governments get involved in this carnage? How can human beings condone this genocide, intervention into other peoples political structures and promote regime change for their own ends?
I pray that every Power and Principality in The Heavens and on Earth, and throughout the whole Universe is brought under the Authority and Dominion and Guidance of The Most High God.
May true Peace fill our hearts and minds. May we turn our weapons into Ploughshares and Cooking utensils. May the Earth Herself recover from the Scars Of War, Rape and Neglect.
We are so wonderful in God’s Eyes, and Ears. To listen to and watch the Classic awards last night was sublime. I cried.
Its just a pity God has to wear a peg on his Nose to stop smelling the Stench of rotting flesh, moral corruption, and human slavery. We have become slaves to so many things now.
I also decided that once my duty free tobacco runs out, if I still want to smoke, I will buy my tobacco from the shop in town. I should pay duty on my tobacco.
I don’t see any less people getting cancer now they stopped smoking though. Perhaps the real culprit is the amount of sugar, preservatives, and the general toxic burden of life we have to live with. I can’t stand Petrol and Diesel fumes. I can’t drive the car, because I seem to get sleepy with all the fumes if they get in the car. Gonna have to take the bus I suppose.
That reminds me, I must find out if I can retrofit my Mazda with exhaust cleaning catalytic converters that actually work.
We can change the whole world. If wonderful African Ladies can Plant a tree corridor across Africa and add to it each year, they have managed to reverse desertification, and change the weather patterns. The things we can do together with a common purpose are so huge, it’s almost impossible to see just how effective those communal efforts to repair and restore things can lead.
Have a wonderful day repairing your bit of World today.
