Then news of a military uprising in Turkey last night. More people dead and injured.
I noticed how many Butterflies there were today, and dragonflies near a little lake we take our dog for a walk to.
We also saw a Maybug last night, it was amazing to see something so huge hovering about.
Perhaps we shall see glow worms or fireflies this summer too.
There are just no bees. Normally the honeysuckle would have a constant buzzing coming from it. It is just so quiet. I am going to experiment and turn off the router tomorrow. Perhaps they don't like it.
I wonder if we miss too many small signs in the big picture of our lives.
I worry that all our food production has become the subject of a few producers of modified seed that has corrupted natural seed harvesting. This has put small farmers out of business globally, and caused migration to cities.
The world is debt ridden and enslaved to paying back personal borrowing, people are owned by their debts.
Everyone you buy from offers 'Credit'. This is just debt wrapped up in a tinsel bow.
When I was a child my parents would never consider borrowing money. If there was not enough to buy something new, what we had was reconditioned, fixed and second hand.
I would far rather look shabby and not have to pay back debts.
Perhaps it's time to salvage our God given nature, and turn away from materialism.
We have lost our bees, we don't want to lose our butterflies as well.
