However the bell went off this morning during his interview with some guy who is hailed as the 'Bitcoin Jesus'. I was shocked I suppose that I had decided a few weeks ago the Bitcoin brigade were treating the system as some kind of religion. Well in my face.
What was more disturbing was this sense of evil I felt. I could see the kind of shadows around him being created by the lighting but it was more than that.
Anyway the first thought that Bitcoin was some type of Assyrian style accounting came from the wordplay in Satoshi Nakamoto. Too much like an anagram of one of the first Assyrian kings.
The Bible clearly refers to the Antichrist being Assyrian. Dig out Micah and a few other prophets.
The allegory to Bitcoin deepens when the word Bitqu is used. It's roots are in the breaking of a dam or dyke. Or syphening off water from a dyke. A splitting of water. Also a form of interest payment, or deduction, I am not sure which because I didn't do ancient languages.
Also that the Bitcoin communty have split into two and shortly into three forms of Bitcoin. Three horns?
First beast giving the second beast power? Blockchain gives Bitcoin its validation.
Daniels description of The Beast.
I am certainly not going to bow down in front of it.
