I might have overdone it because I decorated the spare bedroom just before Christmas, as some friends were coming to stay. It definitely gave me a problem with my knee going up and down the ladder. Still that's settled down.
Anyway I think one or two of my neurons have got over hyped. I need to spend a few days in the psychiatric ward under observation. I need some extra Meds, but the doctor won't know what to give me. I also don't want to end up with too much medication.
I don't think I should drive either, which is a pain.
Update on this post.
I went to the doctors this morning like a good girl. No one in the surgery except someone leaving which was a relief. I also asked if the tv could be turned off, as the flickering is bothering me.
A new new doctor from my practice that I hadn't seen before. He was very good though.
I explained I am stratospheric at the moment. He asked what does that feel like...
We discussed the last couple of letters from the psychiatrist and that olanzapine was stopped due to sleeping too much. So all up to date as far as my discharge early last year.
He asked what I thought brought on the high? So I explained I had been on my I-pad a bit too much time, and had got involved by posting a few comments. He said that wasn't a good idea because people can be very nasty on sites. I said I didn't feel anybody had been nasty to me. (Never bothered by rude people).
So he said what do you think you can do about this 'spot' high, have there been any medications that work?
I said no. However, it would probably be good to have my i-pad confiscated.
So he said, Well doctors aren't in the business of taking away people's tablets.
I actually repeated this because I wasn't sure if he was being serious. I almost laughed even.
So I said I actually find that very funny.
So he said, you are probably a bit manic then....
anyway, I haven't had a call from the psychiatric service yet.
Spent the the day resting, watched the main news and the one show. Interesting that suddenly mental Heath is finally getting some attention. I asked my husband if I could have my I-pad back, so we agreed just for 40 minutes.
