I thought Netta Rocked it. I miss rock and roll and songs that really have meaning. She was amazing.
So was the psychedelic dress the Opera Singer was wearing. I shut my eyes for the Nuclear Explosions.
A very enjoyable evening of TV. No glaring fluorescent colours. I see those in daylight, Well they don’t glare, they are very pretty. Just around the edge of everything if I stop and look. The trees outside our house lit up after the rain and in the Sunset the other evening. I called my Husband to look, and we sat watching them until they put themselves to bed. I realised the glowing lights must have been similar to what Moses saw. A kind of Coral glow. I haven’t seen that colour before. They looked like little fluorescent tubes all over the tree. Sort of flickering and running back and forth as the leaves rustled.
I have pretty well got my memories back. It’s a bit mind boggling, and a lot of junk to reconcile, and throw out of the Mental attic. Might be a bit painful, but worth a spring clean.
I laughed like a drain seeing that mechanical dragon go up in flames this morning. Puff the Magic Dragon definitely got one. I think someone had a slash on the Space Station, formed one of those icicle spears from Game of thrones and it got poor old Puff right through the medulla. It was probably one of the Cosmonauts. Heh.
Well, apart from a painful shoulder this morning where I carried the dog up a hill the other day, I think I am my normal intoxicated self. I have another massage tomorrow. The one I had the other day was both relaxing, and a bit violent at the same time. I will ask for slightly more gentle treatment tomorrow.
Lawn needs mowing, I need to move some plants around. I dug the holes the other day, but felt rubbish after carrying the dog. Made Bread for this morning. Well, I just put it in the oven anyway.
I am going to look out for a second hand buggy for the dog. We collect wood for our log burner anyway over the Summer. If I can get her to stay in it, we can go for longer walks, and get up a bit of pace. Then when she wants to walk and have a sniff round, we can stop for her. My Husband actually thinks this is a good idea, as we can take picnics with us.
We bought a fabulous little blue Le Creuset Casserole on Friday from Hospice Care, I also bought a second hand wardrobe which will do up nicely for a spare room. Also another stainless steel pan. I am going to stop using Teflon coated ones. Oh and a spare colander. So a good haul.
Its Astronomy Club tomorrow, and I am hoping my Friend will come. And that it will be fairly clear sky.
I find it quite Bizarre looking through a Telescope though. I have this weird feeling I am exploring my anal cavity, a bit like watching the camera image from having my bowel screening appointment. Sort of fascinating and disturbing at the same time. Still life is full of surprises!
I suddenly feel a lot less under the existential threat of Nuclear Warfare. Like I can breath more easily.
All sorts of good things happening in the World, it’s good to see them making the News.
Its Beautiful here again today. And I am looking forward to Church this morning.
God Bless you richly and give us all His Peace that passes All Understanding, in the name of Jesus, May we all learn to live in His Peace.
