I know it has been possible to change the weather for a long time, and that there are realy wierd weapons around. I also know that the land is poisoned long after a war. That harmful dioxins, and particles just drift around all over the place and make everyone sick.
Call me a cynic, but this is also good for the drug companies, as they can then sell drugs to combat the effects.
One of the huge discoveries after 9/11 was when the airplanes were grounded for a couple of days. The average temperature without all the normal jet trails rose immediately over America by 1 degree celcius.
Perhaps this is the true 'silver lining' to this desperate loss of life, and terrible memory.
I remember feeling unwell that day, and when a client came in and told me about it my legs went, and I had to sit down for a while.
What we don't realise with our passion for flying everywhere cheaply is how much this is affecting our weather patterns. Even if the reports of this warology documentary are true, and that this is a warfare that is actually happening. The damage to our weather patterns, and the 'greenhouse' it is causing in the upper atmosphere because the sunlight doesn't reach the Earth properly and generate the correct gasses at sea level, la la la... you can look this up online.
10/9/2011 (British Date) I was trying to remember the statistics, If I remember, over certain heavily used areas, the vapour trails cut down almost 20% of sunlight reaching the ground, which obviously has an effect on photosynthesis, and normal vitimin D production. At the time I wondered if this was a reason so many more of us get SAD syndrome throughout the year, and why it seems to take longer for plants to mature these days.
We have a larger challenge to deal with in undoing the dependence on air travel. It is possible to put in the infrastructure of those very smart high speed trains that the Chinese are investing in, see a previous post on that.
Obviously this creates new jobs on the ground as well!
We do need planes, just not so many, and very efficient ones running on different fuel. I don't have a problem with train and boat travel, I love it. In fact we can't take long 'plane journeys as Himself has the problem of DVT to think of.
Further comment; Yesterdays news on RT said the Russions intend to reduce the number of airlines to between 5-7 and increase air safety as a result of the desperately sad loss of life in Yaroslavl. What an unbearable burden for families and friends to see the flower of youth and expectation lost.
My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected by this loss, and to those families who's loved and cherished children must live with this loss, I am sure the whole world grieves with you as I do.
We have the internet for conferencing now, and it might be better to consider permanent trade exhibitions that companies worldwide can book slots for and meet and see their buyers 'on the road'.
Even better, would be floating trade fairs, I know a couple of old aircraft carriers going cheap somewhere.... get them done up and use them as floating trade centres to move round the world.
Each port of call, they can swap stands. If there was a bit of accomodation as well that was good value, It might be a great way to see the world.
I checked out Reb Jeff's new post this morning, and yes it is difficult to see suffering, misery and tragedy.
When this is caused by a lack of will to help our family or neighbour in a kind of xenopobic myopia, no one benefits in the end.
Yes some neighbours can be a nightmare! I have had problems myself. It doesn't matter how intractable they are, how much they try to frighten you, damage your property, nick stuff off you, and be bloody minded. Damage limitation is the only answer. Some people have a very mistrusting nature, and because they are dishonest, and vindictive they expect everyone else to be the same.
Well I just think they must be miserable, and if they don't get invited to any parties it serves them right.
So long as you put a nice stong border round them so they can't get into your country until they want to be nice and play properly, they will have to play with themselves and suffer the consequences of not getting any trade deals, or holidays abroad.
And yes I do have to give my neighbour rights to his electric and water supplies over my property. So long as he doesn't tap into them without paying for it, I can be generous enough to accommodate his needs. All you have to do is put a meter on each end and make sure you are getting out the pipeline what you put in. If there is a difference, send a bill. Also, I can tell you from experience, there is nothing you can do if they don't pay for it! Just consider it a gift, and get some sleep. You have to put a lot of things down to experience, and count past mistakes as a valuable lesson.
Better to write off a loss, and not waste any more time trying to recover money, and get on with making some more, before it costs you your health and a shed load more, trying to get something back that has been lost, spent, and can't be recovered. Like water under a bridge, or water nicked out of your system. It has gone, and you just hope that you are going to get rained on.
We are farmers and growers, we like rain, it's called 'Liquid Sunshine' round here. We had to call off the massive annual air display for the first time ever yesterday, because we had a large slice of it dished up.
Dont sell any weapons or arms that mean people have the ability to kill each other with anything but hand held swords or bows and arrows, and make peace based on genuine mutual respect.
We have too much to lose, and nothing to gain by continuing with the industry of war.
Besides, how are those Sun Spots coming on, I haven't checked them lately. What would happen if the Sunspot activity went dormant for a very long time? Hmmm... might get a bit cold!
I don't think any scientist has got to the point where they can do a thing with the Sun's activity. You might want to consider that if you are playing God with the weather.... God does a far better job, .. .. .. .. how about leaving some things in His hands, and spending all that money sorting out the problems on the ground.
Just checked;http://spaceweather.com/ Sweet Spot! I wonder if Messenger is going to get a teensy weensy bit scortched here, might end up looking like the toast I had for breakfast.
Anyone running a book on how much it's going to get damaged?
Ooops, another shed load of money torched!
